PostSecret - Twenty Years of Secrets, Made Searchable

Frank Warren owns PostSecret, which spans twenty years and about 14,000 secrets, but lacked technical expertise to make the archive explorable beyond a simple list. I integrated full-text, semantic, and faceted search into a unified ranking system, built within the WordPress tools his team uses. Each new secret remains private until vetted, and the archive is now searchable by meaning, with moderation ensuring sensitive submissions are not public by default.

Melee.gg - Esports Platform, Zero to Global

Melee.gg started with no platform and a single developer: me. I developed a multi-tenant solution for stores, organizers, and publishers, centralizing pairing and standings logic and providing real-time updates where needed. The platform grew to over 2 million lines of code, was adopted by teams at Wizards of the Coast, Ravensburger, and Star City Games, and I led it for six years as EVP of Product.

NILmetrics - A Number You Can Argue With

Following the NCAA's 2021 policy change, collectives, brands, and agents could price athlete deals but lacked benchmarks. We developed a standard score based on verifiable performance, social reach, and market comparables, with a published methodology. The system now evaluates approximately 10,000 Division I basketball athletes across 32 conferences, recalculated daily in closed beta.

Duly - Verified Constituent Voices for Elected Officials

An elected official's office could not distinguish genuine constituent messages from automated ones, resulting in residents being filtered like bots. I prioritized verification before any other process and ensured the AI only summarized, never made decisions. The solution soft-launched in July 2025 and was demonstrated to elected officials, but no pilot was signed and the project is no longer active.

Checking domain availability individually is slow and often unreliable. I ensured the tool only confirms availability with definitive proof, otherwise reporting 'Unknown,' and built it on serverless infrastructure. It checks 20 domains per batch, is in production, and costs about 50 cents per month to operate.

I designed this site to demonstrate results, using static pages on Terraform-managed AWS and an AI Website Grader that evaluates any site across six categories. It has been live since January 2026, loads in under three seconds, and the grader is available to all users.
